I am a consultant cardiac surgeon at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.I undertake almost all varieties of adult cardiac surgery excluding transplant. This includes coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and aortic valve replacement (AVR) which are the most common heart operations but my special interest is valve surgery especially mitral valve repair.
